Professor Linda J Bilmes teaches budgeting, applied budgeting, and public finance at the Harvard Kennedy School on a full-time basis. The Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government, the Taubman Center for State and Local Government, and the Rappaport Center for Greater Boston all have her as a faculty affiliate.
Bilmes leads teams of student volunteers that work in the communities at Harvard, where he conducts an innovative initiative to aid local cities and villages with their financial health. She also leads budgeting courses for freshly elected mayors and members of Congress at the Harvard Institute of Politics.
