Linda A. Hill is the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. She is the faculty chair of the Leadership Initiative and has chaired numerous executive education programs at the school.
Hill has authored or coauthored several books and many Harvard Business Review articles. She is the author of Becoming a Manager: How New Managers Master the Challenges of Leadership (Harvard Business Review Press, 2003) and has a book forthcoming from Harvard Business Review Press: Being the Boss (2011), coauthored with Kent L. Lineback. Among Hillâs many HBR articles are âAre You a High Potential?â (June 2010) and âWinning the Race for Talent in Emerging Marketsâ (November 2008), both coauthored with Douglas A. Ready and Jay A. Conger.
