Lil BUB Biography

BUB is a one-of-a-kind creature with a unique personality. She is, in fact, the most wonderful cat on the earth. She was discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in a tool shed in rural Indiana when she was only a few weeks old in July of 2011. When it became obvious that she would require particular care, she was brought in as a rescue. BUB has since become one of the most well-known cats in the globe. She is a published author, a talk show host, the star of an award-winning documentary, and the founder of the ASPCA's Lil BUB's Big FUND (the first national fund for special needs dogs), which has raised over $200,000 for animals in need. BUB was born with a slew of genetic flaws that all add up to one of nature's most fortunate coincidences. She's a perma-kitten, which means she'll stay little and have kitten-like characteristics for the rest of her life. She also has a severe form of dwarfism, meaning her limbs are abnormally small in comparison to the rest of her body, making it difficult for her to move around. Her legs are small and stubby, and her torso is lengthy and ferret-like. Her lower jaw is much shorter than her upper jaw, and her teeth never fully developed, causing her tongue to dangle. BUB, on the other hand, has a strong appetite and can consume both dry and wet food without difficulty.BUB is also a polydactyl cat, which means she has additional toes, with one extra toe on each of her four paws, for a total of 22 toes (and 22 claws). Then there are her emerald eyes, which are huge, bulging, and full of curiosity. Some believe she can use such items to glimpse into the future. BUB is a healthy, happy cat living in the care of her guy who treats her like a queen, despite her odd appearance and various infirmities. BUB was diagnosed with osteopetrosis, an extremely rare bone disease, just after turning one year old. BUB is the only cat known to have been born with this illness, which has made treatment extremely challenging. As she gets older, the illness causes her bones to get thicker, making it difficult for her to walk around. She had considerable difficulties moving about and was virtually entirely motionless by the time she was a year and a half old. But, owing to her celebrity, we were able to seek assistance from fans and experts, and we ultimately identified a really effective therapy using the Assisi Loop, which employs Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy.
