Leticia Van de Putte has gladly spoken to the individuals of San Antonio at the Texas Legislature since 1991. A rehearsing drug specialist since 1980 Senator Van de Putte speaks to an enormous bit of San Antonio and Bexar County. A previous five term state delegate she has spoken to Texas Senate District 26 since 1999.
On January 8 2013 she was consistently chosen by her partners to fill in as President Pro Tempore of the Texas Senate's 83rd Regular Session. On May 4 2013 she was confirmed as Governor for a Day. After the 2013 Legislative Session, she was named to Texas Monthly's 10 Best Legislators List.
