When humor selected her, the former beauty pageant queen was aggressively pursuing a singing and acting career. Norris went to work for Disney after winning first runner-up in both Miss Georgia and Miss Florida pageants.
Norris, a Florida native, sang in several Disney productions before relocating to Los Angeles. Her professional career took off here.
