Leigh Whannell experienced childhood in Melbourne Australia where at four years old he built up a fixation on recounting stories. Regardless of whether it be through acting composition or filmmaking his essential love was getting a response from a group of people.
In 1995, at 18 years old, he was acknowledged into the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology's renowned Media Arts course where he met individual movie producer James Wan. In his second year of school, he handled the job of film fellow on a Saturday morning TV show focused on adolescents called Recovery (1996).
