Lawrence Sher ASC has established himself as an American cinematographer and film director who delivers unique visual narratives through his diverse filmography. Throughout his 30-year career Sher has worked on more than 35 feature films as well as numerous pilots and hundreds of commercials and music videos. The filmography of Lawrence Sher includes The Hangover trilogy alongside Garden State and Due Date and War Dogs and Godzilla: King of the Monsters and the Oscar-nominated Joker (2019) which earned him Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominations for Best Cinematography.

Through his work Sher established ShotDeck as a complete image database which helps filmmakers discover visual ideas for their projects. As a director he has made his feature film debut with Father Figures while also directing the pilot episode of the Peacock original series Rutherford Falls and multiple other episodes.
