LaVasia Bullard Biography

LaVasia Bullard is a 2005 alumni of Syracuse University. After accepting her B.A. in open approach she joined Teach for America. During her two-year duty, she showed kindergarten and first grade at M.Agnes Jones Elementary School in Atlanta Public Schools. During the initial two years of instructing she understood she had found her energy inside training through, an affirmation program and chose to remain in the field. She kept on showing second and third grade for an extra 4 years. During that time she got various honors at her school including Teach of the Year. She was a semi-finalist for the locale wide Teacher of the Year. She extended her initiative by composing awards for her homeroom her school and worked with locale strategy authorities to create rules for building up the Effective Teacher Project which got state and national subsidizing from the Gates Foundation and Race to the Top. In 2011 LaVasia took a situation with the Atlanta Teach for America office. Her job is Manager Teacher Leadership and Development. In this initiative improvement job, she mentors creates, and screens the advancement of 31 first and second-year instructors in Atlanta Public Schools in grades k-12. This job requires specialized enthusiastic social and versatile training. She is seeking after her Master's qualification in Educational Leadership at Georgia State University. Notwithstanding working with instructors, she as of now is the Curator of the Atlanta Global Shapers Organization."
