Laurent Ledoux Biography

Laurent Ledoux is the founder, partner, and Chairman of the Board of Phusis, a group of seasoned executives specialising in collaborative governance. Phusis Partners who have typically implemented collaborative governance (teal, liberated, agile, sociocratic,...) in the organisations they have managed are now sharing their experiences with and accompanying organisations that want to implement collaborative governance as well. Laurent Ledoux has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, specialising in the restructuring and modernization of business units and administrations. He previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of EurActiv and as President of the Belgian Ministry of Mobility and Transports. Head of the Public Banking department and member of the Corporate & Public Banking Executive Committee for BNP Paribas Fortis; Chief of Staff of a Minister; Director for Personal & Government of the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affairs; Partner for Arthur D. Little – a consultancy firm; Restructuration Project Leader in Eastern Europe for the European Commission; Merger & Acquisitions officer for ING and Human resources Director in Mozambique for Médecins Sans Frontières He has a Master's degree in Economics from the Universities of Namur, Bologna, and Madrid, as well as a Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Solvay (Belgium).He teaches Business Ethics, CSR, and Leadership at a number of universities. He is fluent in seven languages. He is also a volunteer director of PhiloMa and Face2faith, a founding member of Teach For Belgium, and a member of the boards of several associations and social businesses.
