Lauren C. Templeton is the founder and president of Templeton & Phillips Capital Management, LLC, a Chattanooga-based value investment firm. The Global Maximum Pessimism Fund's general partner is the business. Templeton graduated from the University of the South with a bachelor's degree in economics. She is the founder and past president of the Atlanta-based Southeastern Hedge Fund Association, Inc.
Templeton is a member of the Baylor School's Board of Trustees, The Beacon Center of Tennessee's Board of Advisors, and the Atlas Board of Overseers. Templeton is a member of Rotary International as well. She is a member of Chattanooga Rotary Club 103's investment committee as well as The Rotary Foundation's investment committee.
