Lauren Lyons is a certification engineering lead at SpaceX for NASA's Commercial Crew Program's International Space Station certification of Dragon 2. Lyons just finished her Master's degree in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she focused on Science and Technology Policy and authored her capstone project on re-framing NASA's community outreach dilemma using Adaptive Leadership concepts.
She also holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, as well as a certificate/minor in Engineering Biology and three summers working as an engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory on the Mars Exploration Rovers and MSL-Curiosity missions.
