Ms. Landro works as an assistant managing editor for The Wall Street Journal and frequently writes about health care. "The Informed Patient," her column, appears on alternate Tuesdays. Ms. Landro began her career as a reporter in the Journal's New York bureau, covering the entertainment, cable, and publication industries, and was promoted to media and marketing editor in May 1991.
