He spent fifteen of those years as a classroom teacher, during which time he was nominated for the National Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award. Larry was recognised as a teacher at Gar-field High School, a school with over 3,000 students speaking 36 different languages, for his innovative teaching approaches that allowed his "Tough Kids" as well as his "Gifted and Talented" to excel! Larry Bell was the Supervisor of Multicultural Education for Prince William County Schools for seven years, providing hands-on workshops for students and teachers in 67 schools with over 3000 teachers as well as 50,000 students. Larry has been an educational consultant for over 20 years, working with hundreds of schools across the country, sharing his techniques with teachers and principals to help them to increase their students' achievement.
