Larry Alford's journey is nothing short of miraculous. Larry's passion for golf dates back to his childhood, and he always knew it would play a significant role in his future. He worked hard to perfect his game, but tragically, in August of 1991, he was involved in an automobile accident that nearly killed him.
In fact, Larry lost his left arm as a result of it. Even this could not dampen his desire to become a professional tour player. Larry was quickly becoming one of the most effective junior golfers in the country prior to the accident. His championship results ranked him sixteenth on the American Junior Golf Association's national list.
