Del Rey began songwriting at 18 years old and marked her first chronicle contract with 5 Points Records in 2007 delivering her first computerized collection Lana Del Ray in January 2010. Del Rey got herself out of the agreement with 5 Points Records in April 2010 and marked a joint agreement with Interscope Polydor and Stranger Records in July 2011. Del Rey delivered her second studio collection and major-name debut Born to Die in January 2012. It appeared at No. 2 on the U.S. Bulletin 200 and was the fifth smash hit collection of 2012. A remix of its fifth single Summertime Sadness delivered by Cedric Gervais turned into her most noteworthy diagramming track on the U.S. Bulletin Hot 100 in the wake of topping at No. 6 in the nation. Del Rey delivered her third expanded play Paradise that November; three of its tracks were highlighted in her short film Tropico which was debuted in December. Her third studio collection Ultraviolence is planned to be delivered in June 2014 and is gone before by the singles West Coast Shades of Cool Ultraviolence and Brooklyn Baby. Del Rey's music has been noted for its true to life sound and its references to different parts of mainstream society especially that of the 1950s and 1960s Americana. The artist has depicted herself as a so called gangsta Nancy Sinatra. Musically she draws impact from what she considers to be the experts of every classification including Elvis Presley Amy Winehouse Janis Joplin Nirvana Eminem Bruce Springsteen and Britney Spears just as from verse and film noir.
