Lady A, formerly Lady Antebellum, is a country music band from Nashville, Tennessee, founded in 2006. Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals), Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals, guitar), and Dave Haywood make up the band (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin).
Kelley is the brother of pop artist Josh Kelley, while Scott is the daughter of country music singer Linda Davis. Before signing to Capitol Nashville, the trio made their debut as guest vocalists on Jim Brickman's single Never Alone in 2007.
