Kyrie Irving is a point guard for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has been a six-time All-Star and was voted MVP of the 2014 All-Star Game. In the 2011 draught, the Cavaliers picked Irving with the first overall choice.
He was named Rookie of the Year for the lockout-shortened 2012 season after averaging 18.5 points, 5.4 assists, and 1.1 steals in 51 games. With the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving won a championship in 2016, closing Game 7 with a legendary jumper. Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics in 2017. In 2019, Irving joined the Brooklyn Nets.
