Kyle Allen is an American football quarterback who plays for the National Football League's Carolina Panthers (NFL). He was a football player for the Texas A&M Aggies and the Houston Cougars in college.
Allen was the Panthers' third-string quarterback in 2018, behind starter Cam Newton as well as backup Taylor Heinicke, before taking over the final game of the season due to injuries to both. After Newton suffered a season-ending injury early in the 2019 season, Allen took over as the starter for the majority of the season.
