Kwame Anku is the chairman and CEO of Black Star Fund, an early-stage innovation fund that invests in the US and Africa. Prior to this, he was the co-founder and principal of Black Angel Tech Fund, a fund dedicated to investing in black technology business owners.
Anku has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, BBC Worldwide, SiriusXM, and NPR, and she is a coach for the AT&T Aspire Accelerator as well as the Founder Institute Sacramento. He is also an Aspen Ascend Fellow for 2018-2019.
