For his role in overthrowing Panamanian General Manuel Noriega, Kurt Muse received the Army's Freedom Team Salute Commendation. The United States Military started Operation Just Cause, the liberation of Panama, twenty years ago on December 20, 1989, featuring the greatest parachute combat jump since WWII and the largest military operation since Vietnam.
