Krisztina Holly is a Hungarian-American entrepreneur, engineer, and innovation expert. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT, where she began her career at the MIT Media Lab, contributing to the world’s first full-color computer-generated reflection hologram. Holly co-founded Stylus Innovation, developing Visual Voice telephony software, which was sold for $12.8 million in 1996.
She founded the MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation (2002–2006) and the USC Stevens Center for Innovation (2006–2012), launching 39 startups that raised over $1 billion. Holly created the first TEDx event (TEDxUSC) in 2009, sparking a global movement.
