Kristofer Helgen is a Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History research zoologist and curator of mammals. He received his Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Adelaide in Australia, and he has worked on nearly every continent. Kris is well-known for discovering new mammal species all over the world.
He has appeared on the Discovery Channel as well as numerous television and radio shows around the world.
