Kristin Kreuk is a Canadian actress who is best known for playing Lana Lang in the Superman-inspired television series Smallville and Laurel Yeung in the Canadian adolescent drama Edgemont. Snow White: The Prettiest of Them All, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li and Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy are among her other credits.
Kreuk has been starring on The CW's Beauty & the Beast as Catherine Chandler since 2012. Kreuk earned a People's Choice Award for her performance in Beauty & the Beast in 2014. Kreuk competed at the national level in karate and gymnastics until high school, when he had to stop due to scoliosis.
