Kristen was exposed to news at a young age. She appeared as a studio guest on a live newscast in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Kristen knew she wanted to work in news when the show started and she got goosebumps. At the tender age of 18, she began working as a studio camera operator at WAGT.
She quickly rose through the ranks of the newsroom as a reporter. Five years later, in 2003, she arrived at WBTV for what she refers to as "the best job in the world." Beat: Kristen provides us with a daily update on The Good News.
