Kool and the Gang are an American band shaped in Jersey City New Jersey in 1964 by siblings Robert Kool Bell and Ronald Bell with Dennis D.T. Thomas Robert Mickens Charles Smith George Brown and Ricky West. They have experienced various changes in work force and have investigated numerous melodic styles since their commencement including jazz-soul funk-rock and popular music.
In the wake of choosing their name following a few changes the gathering marked to De-Lite Records and delivered their introduction collection Kool and the Gang (1970). After three collections the band had business accomplishment with Wild and Peaceful (1973) which contained the US top ten singles Jungle Boogie and Hollywood Swinging.
