Kiran Shah (conceived September 28, 1956) is a Kenyan-Indian entertainer and a stand-in. Shah was conceived in Nairobi Kenya. He lived in Kenya until he was twelve years of age when he moved to India with his family. While living in India he got keen on films and when his family moved to London he got associated with the big time. His first film was the 1977 film Candleshoe as a substitute for a young lady called Sara Tamakuni and when stunt organizer Bob Anderson requested that he do her tricks also his vocation was begun. Kiran filled the role of Bolum in the 1977 film The People That Time Forgot. He has been in a few blockbuster films since, for example, Superman (1978) Superman II (1980) The Dark Crystal (1982) Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) Legend (1985) Aliens (1986) The Sign of Four (1987) Bullseye! (1990) Braveheart (1995) and Titanic (1997) where he stunt multiplied all the kids in the film. He has showed up as a trick twofold or substitute in every one of the 6 Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings films motion pictures. He was the scale twofold for Elijah Wood as Frodo. He multiplied Bilbo Baggins as played by both Martin Freeman (in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) and Ian Holm (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring). He is one of just 3 entertainers to play the nominal character in Peter Jackson's Hobbit set of three."
