Kimberly Jan Dickens went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville where she studied Communication (B.A. degree). Not long after that she went to New York to proceed with her examinations at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and graduated at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is likewise dynamic in Open Stage Theater.
In the last part of the 1990s, she moved to L.A. Dickens made her stage debut in an understudy creation of David Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago at Vanderbilt University. She has showed up in a few outside the box motion pictures including Palookaville Voice from the Grave Truth or Consequences N.M.
