Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak is an Emirati entrepreneur who serves as the Managing Director and Group CEO of Mubadala Investment Company. He was born in Abu Dhabi and educated in the United States before embarking on a career in construction as well as real estate, eventually becoming Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Development Company. He serves on the boards of First Abu Dhabi Bank, Aldar Properties, and Ferrari. Al Mubarak is also a member of the company's Board Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), which advises the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, of which he is also a member. He also serves on the Abu Dhabi Supreme Petroleum Council and as the President's Special Envoy to China. When the Abu Dhabi United Group purchased Manchester City Football Club in September 2008, Al Mubarak became the club's chairman. He is regarded as one of the royal family's most dependable advisers.
