Kevin Volpp is the founding director of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics' Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics, the director of the NIH-funded Penn CMU Roybal P30 Center in Behavioral Economics and Health, and a professor of medicine and healthcare management at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
He is a key faculty member of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center's Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion. The influence of financial and organizational incentives on health outcomes is the focus of Volpp's study. The New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Medical Association, and Health Affairs have all published his work.
