To some, Kevin Phillips is best known for his leading role in Suna Goneras Pride (2007). Kevin spent his adolescence in both Moncks Corner, South Carolina, and Brooklyn, New York. In the year 2000, he decided to forego his basketball scholarship at SUNY-Cobleskill in order to pursue a career in acting.
Phillips made his stage debut in William Hicks' off-Broadway play A Little Piece of Life. His first film credit was a supporting role opposite Tim Meadows in Queen Latifah's The Cookout (2004).
