Kevin Lepage Biography

Kevin Lepage is a stock car racing driver from the United States. In 1986, Lepage made his Busch Series debut at Oxford Plains Speedway, starting 41st and finishing 15th in Carl Merrill's #09 Buick. In 1994, he joined the Busch Series as an owner/driver in the #71 Vermont Teddy Bear Company car, where he competed for Rookie of the Year honors. He finished 9th at New Hampshire International Speedway, where he suffered a flat tire at the conclusion of the race and ended 24th in points. The 1995 season ended with five Top 10 finishes and a point total of 18th. He lost his sponsorship at the end of the season and drove his own vehicle until April. Then, with sponsorship from Ridling's own Farmer's Choice Fertilizer, Lepage joined David Ridling and his No. 88 Ridling Motorsports team. With Hype Energy sponsorship, he won his first professional race in the Jiffy Lube Miami 300 at the end of the season. With one win, three Top 5s, and ten Top 10s, he finished ninth in points. He drove for Ridling for most of the 1997 season until quitting owing to the team's loss of sponsorship. Lepage would go on to race for Phoenix Racing and ST Motorsports at the end of the year. He ended 12th in points with three top fives and six top tens. Lepage made his Cup debut by qualifying 12th in the #91 LJ Racing vehicle for the Fall Charlotte event. He also competed in the Talladega and Atlanta races in the fall, finishing 17th at Talladega and 29th at Atlanta.
