Kevin Conroy is the president of Univision Interactive Media and Enterprise Development of Univision Communications Inc., the country's biggest media business. He oversees the Company's interactive business, which includes a network of national and local online and mobile sites such as Univision.com, which continues to be the most-visited Spanish-language platform among online Hispanics in the United States; Univision Móvil, a long-standing industry leader with unique, relevant mobile goods & services; and Univision Partner Group, a specialized advertising agency. Mr. Conroy also oversees the Univision Enterprise Development division of the company. He heads a team tasked with identifying new development possibilities and forming technological collaborations. Univision Interactive Media has formed relationships with top technology firms, content producers, and mobile developers to grow and improve user experiences on Univision's digital platforms under his direction. Univision Interactive Media has grown to become the leading Spanish-language publisher, with best-in-class content, tools, services, and comprehensive resources in a variety of consumer sectors. He also extended the company's mobile services, which now include mobile Web sites, mobile apps, in-show interactive features, mobile video channels, notifications, and text-messaging systems, as well as a large library of the downloaded material. Mr. Conroy has more than 20 years of expertise in advertising and communications. He has held a variety of top programming, product, marketing, distribution, and operations responsibilities in the consumer Internet and online media sector, making him one of the most successful executives in the industry. Mr. Conroy has managed a number of prominent Web brands, including AOL, AIM, ICQ, Moviefone, Netscape, Truveo, and Winamp, and has led huge worldwide teams of content programmers, designers, Web developers, and software engineers in the development of consumer Websites and software applications. Mr. Conroy previously worked at AOL for eight years, most recently as executive vice president of Global Products and Marketing, where he supervised the development of AOL's desktop, mobile, and IPTV products for the United States and 30 countries around the world. Mr. Conroy was previously the chief marketing officer and president of New Technology at BMG Entertainment, a Bertelsmann AG division, where he was in charge of all marketing and new media development for BMG's businesses, as well as managing global marketing campaigns for some of the world's biggest artists. Prior to joining BMG Entertainment, he worked at CBS/FOX VIDEO as vice president of marketing. Mr. Conroy was named a 2010 Digital All-Star by Broadcasting & Cable, and one of Digital Media Wire's 25 Executives to Watch by Digital Media Wire. He is also a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Online Publishers Association (OPA), Newell Rubbermaid (NWL), and RecycleBank boards of directors. He is a Bowdoin College graduate.
