Kevin Blackistone is an American sports writer and lecturer who appears on ESPN's Around the Horn and Comcast's Redskins Postgame Live on a regular basis. On the radio, he is a regular guest co-host on ESPN980's Sports Reporters in Washington, D.C.
After graduating from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1981, Blackistone began his career in journalism as a cityside reporter at The Boston Globe newspaper. He began writing for in 1983, a monthly investigative magazine focused on racial and socioeconomic concerns in Chicago.
