Kermit Lynch is a Berkeley, California-based wine importer, author, and winemaker. Adventures on the Wine Route, which received the Veuve Clicquot Wine Book of the Year award, is his first book.
He has received the James Beard Foundation's Wine Professional of the Year award as well as the French government's Chevalier de l'Ordre de Mérite Agricole medal for his contributions to the wine business. The French government bestowed the title of Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur on him in 2005.
