Kenton Duty was born in Plano, Texas on May 12, 1995. He began his acting career at the age of nine, when his parents suggested he attend a summer musical theatre workshop to help with school presentations.
Kenton Duty discovered his love for musical theatre at the Dallas Theater Center, where he also met the casting director who asked him to audition for his first play, "A Christmas Carol." Kenton auditioned for a role in the musical "Ragtime" the following summer. During this production, he realised that acting was his true calling.
