Kent Johnson is the co-founder of Black & Abroad a company dedicated to international luxury and adventure experiences for black travelers. Since 2015 he has committed himself to empowering others in my community to travel the world through shedding light on the journeys of expats and travelers of color using Black & Abroad as the medium for influence.
Through Black & Abroad he also partners with brands to create authentic and organic campaigns for the millennial consumer.Due to my background in branding and culture strategy Johnson is a popular speaker on topics such as social media branding & digital marketing the travel habits of millennials the spending styles of African-American consumers entrepreneurship the state of blackness in America & abroad and technology in travel.His writing published in The Huffington Post & Cassius Magazine been featured in Black Enterprise Ebony Rolling Out Magazine & Creative Loafing and named one of the 100 most influential African-Americans of 2017 by The Root.Johnson graduated from Morgan State University with a B.A.
