Ken Bastida is a CBS affiliate's Channel 5 (KPIX) news anchor in California. Since 1990, he has worked as a reporter for the channel. In 1978, Bastida started his career as a Bay Area radio broadcaster. He's worked on the air at Bay Area radio stations KFRC, KGO, KMEL, K101, KFYI, and KCBS since then.
Bastida even had his own landscaping program on HGTV called Landscape Smart for a while. Bastida graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts and was inducted into the University's Hall of Fame in May 2008.
