Kelly grew up in Blessing, Texas, a small town of 900 people in Matagorda County where her father runs a barbershop and her late mother managed a number of eateries, including the famous Blessing Hotel.
Kelly attended the University of Texas in Austin and got her degree in International Business in 1984 after graduating as valedictorian from Tidehaven High School in El Maton. In 1987, she graduated from South Texas College of Law with a law degree. Kelly Siegler is a seasoned prosecutor who is well-known for her toughness, persistence, and courtroom prowess.
