Katy is a writer actor and comedienne living in Los Angeles. She is a co-creator executive producer writer and actor on the new TV Land single camera series Teachers. The show premieres January 13th at 11/10c. Katy received her B.A. in Theater and Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
After school she moved to Chicago and performed with the Second City House Ensemble iO Chicago The Playground Theater and The Annoyance. Katy is part of the critically acclaimed comedy group The Katydids who created Teachers. Their videos have been featured on such sites as The Huffington Post MTV Cosmopolitan Perez Hilton College Humor LaughSpin and Italy’s Vanity Fair.
