Kathryn Morris is an American actress best known for her lead role as Detective Lilly Rush in the CBS series Cold Case. She grew up one of six children and lived most of her childhood traveling around the US singing in her family's gospel group called The Morris Code. She was born in Ohio but brought up in both Texas and Connecticut.
Kathryn's career started off with her short role in the 1991 film Long Road Home alongside Mark Harmon who she came to work with in the future again. It was the start of many other small roles in TV and film. Followed by roles in such films as Cool As Ice Death Of A Cheerleader Sleepstalker and TV roles in Murder She Wrote Silk Stalkings and Relativity. These small roles and some bigger roles in little-known films worked up to her big break. Kathryn's big break was her big role in the TV series Pensacola: Wings of Gold which came in 1998. Although it didn't put her out there on the A-list it definitely got her known. Kathryn starred for the whole first season playing Lieutenant Annalisa Lindstrom a strong woman in the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. The character played with a feisty relationship with Lieutenant A.J. 'Buddha' Conaway and Kathryn's character ended the series with starting a romantic relationship with A.J.
