Kathleen McElligott, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, oversees Emerson's global information technology strategy, which includes hardware, software, and services, as well as telecommunications and data centre infrastructure. She has been in charge of these duties since February 2010. McElligott joined Emerson as Vice President of Information Technology for Emerson Power Transmission in 2000.
She was promoted to Vice President of Information Technology for Emerson Industrial Automation in 2003, a position she held until her current position with Emerson. McElligott worked for General Electric for 22 years before joining Emerson. holding a variety of information systems leadership positions before becoming CIO of supply chain for GE Aircraft Engines.
