She is an English actress. In the Channel 4 comedy series The Crowd for which she received a British Comedy Best TV Actress Award in 2009, she has been known for her rolwe as Jen Barber.
She is also known for the BAFTA TV Award in 2014 (nominated in 2011).Of the series Doc Martin for three series, she was also a main cast member. There she performed the voiceovers for the games Worms Clan Wars and Worms Battlegrounds. In Humans an eight part sci-fi drama on AMC/Channel 4 which premiered in June 2015, she co-starred.
