Katherine Nye is an American weightlifter who competed in the 69 kg category until 2018 and the 71 kg category after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganised the categories. She was named IWF Female Lifter of the Year in 2019.
Nye became the youngest American woman ever to win gold in the -71kg weight class at the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) 2019 World Weightlifting Championships in 2019, and she currently holds every American weightlifting record in the -71kg class. Nye intends to compete for Team USA in the Summer Olympics in 2021.
