UnboundEd's Chief Executive Officer is Kate Gerson. Kate has led the creation and implementation of curriculum and professional learning, as well as training transformative school leaders and serving as a high school teacher and principal. Kate establishes the vision and manages the design, implementation, and quality of all programs as a managing partner of programs.
Kate was the Regents Research Fund's senior fellow for educator engagement, where she led the design and implementation of EngageNY.org, New York State's innovative curriculum, training, and professional development tools connected to higher educational standards. She formerly worked as the executive director of the national charity New Leaders, where she mentored and educated future school leaders.
