Kalina Silverman is the founder of Big Talk (makebigtalk.com) a social experiment and video project about skipping small talk to make more meaningful connections instead. Big Talk started with a Youtube video that went viral (https://youtu.be/deScHJGoVc8) when Kalina skipped small talk to ask strangers What do you want to do before you die?
Since then Big Talk has expanded into a global movement where people around the world have hosted their own Big Talk events - at work school and in their communities. Big Talk was also awarded a Fulbright Research grant on How to use Big Talk to establish empathy across cultural communications.
