Kaira Sturdivant Rouda is the president of Real Living and the creator of the Real Living brand. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, marketing, and the power of women in the workplace and beyond. She began her career as a published author, journalist, marketing executive, and business owner, working in marketing for national brands and large regional advertising agencies. She also works as a freelance writer and editor for national and regional publications. While running her own writing business, she took a job as the vice president of marketing for an Inc. 100 national franchisor, where she discovered her passion for franchising as a means of achieving entrepreneurial business ownership. In 1997, she ventured into another field teeming with business owners: residential real estate. She founded the nationally acclaimed Real Living brand in 2002, and it is now one of the fastest-growing franchise companies in the country, making a significant impact in a volatile industry.
