Justin Hurwitz is a film composer and television writer who has won an Academy Award. He is most known for composing the soundtrack for the film La La Land. Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench and Whiplash, both directed by Damien Chazelle, were both scored by him.
He won Golden Globes for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for La La Land (for City of Stars). He also received the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music, as well as two Academy Awards for City of Stars: Best Original Score and Best Original Song.
