Do you ever wonder or wish to be more than you have aspired to be? I always knew there had to be more to life, and I discovered it through my love of running. I was overweight, on antidepressants, and couldn't even run around the block before I started running.
I was a young mother who had experienced some very dark times. I am no longer on any medications and have lost 20 pounds since I began running. Running literally saved my life. My first marathon, the Los Angeles Marathon, took place on March 2, 2008. I'd made every rookie blunder. Ouch! That about sums it up.
