Julie is the Chief Operating Officer at Stitch Fix, overseeing strategy, marketing, styling and client experience. Prior, Julie was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer & Digital Officer at Sephora. Under her seven years of leadership, Sephora quadrupled its e-commerce business, developed the industry’s leading loyalty program—Beauty Insider—and launched Sephora as an early leader in the digital space.
Julie also built and led the e-commerce teams at Urban Outfitters (2005-07) and Nordstrom (2000-05). Before joining the Stitch Fix team as COO, Bornstein had been a member of Stitch Fix’s Board of Directors through two and a half years of unprecedented growth. Julie holds a B.A. and M.B.A from Harvard.
