Julie Battilana is Alan L. Gleitsman Professor of Social Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School and Joseph C. Wilson Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. She founded and chairs the Social Innovation + Change Initiative. Her research examines the politics of change, power, hybrid organizations, and social innovation, focusing on initiatives that challenge the status quo. Born in France, she holds degrees from École Normale Supérieure and a joint PhD from INSEAD. Co-author of “Power, for All” (2021) with Tiziana Casciaro and “Democratize Work” (2022), she teaches power, influence, leadership, and change.
